Located at the Roadside of the edge of a forest reserve is the Rafflesia Forest Centre. Here, visitors can look forward to a jungle trekking adventure to look for the Rafflesia flower. It is advisable to wear comfortable trekking shoes in the attempt to trek through the RIC's challenging terrain.




Pulau Tiga also known as 'Survivor Island'. The islands were formed on September 21 1897, when an earthquake on Mindanao caused a volcanic eruption near Borneo. The island is 607 hectares in size and has a couple of active mud volcanos at the highest part of the island. Pulau Tiga make up Pulau Tiga Park, they are Pulau Tiga, Pulau Kalampunian Damit or better known as Snake Island and Pulau Kalampunian Besar. Several mammals, numerous birds, a variety of reptiles and amphibians and hundreds of insects can be found at Pulau Tiga, making it a truly wild tropical island.




Tambunan Rafflesia Forest Centre
Simple Itinerary :-
0800hrs driving from city over the crocker range to Tambunan takes about 2 hours to reach Rafflesia Information Centre. From here, trek the trails through dipterous forest in search of Rafflesia bud, biggest and rare flower in the world. It takes 15months to bloom or bud and survive for 4 to 7days only. It feeds on insects.

2 Days 1 Night Pulau Tiga Island
Simple Itinerary :-
Day 1 (Lunch & Dinner)
0800hrs pick up from your hotel and take about 1 and half hours journey to Kuala Penyu jetty. Take a boat ride to Pulau Tiga island for another 30minutes boat ride. Check in resort. Enjoy the nature trail to mud volcano. Lunch & dinner served at restaurant. Overnight at resort.

Day 2 (Breakfast)
Breakfast at resort. Free at own leisure. 1000hrs check out and return to city.
